Acorns Children’s Hospice
Acorns Children’s Hospice offers a network of specialist care and support to children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening illnesses, and their families. Acorns is currently supporting 600 children and 800 families, including those who are bereaved.
Bereavement Support South Worcestershire
Bereavement Support South Worcestershire provides an opportunity for children, adolescents and families to share their feelings and develop strategies for managing their bereavement. We can support children and families on their own or with group support. Parents and guardians can access counselling or advice on supporting a bereaved child.
This service is provided free of charge and is available to anyone who is registered with a GP in the South Worcestershire area and has experienced a sudden or traumatic bereavement.

Edward’s Trust
Edward Dent died aged seven years. Through the pain and grief of their loss his parents, Peter and Hilary Dent decided to try and help other families. Edward’s Trust was set up in 1989 to fulfil that very personal mission.
Edward’s Trust is a specialist provider of holistic family bereavement support for the West Midlands area based in Edgbaston, Birmingham. They provide support for bereaved children, young people, and parents. Edwards Trust has 34 years of experience and operates at the highest level, providing qualified counselling and holistic support for complex or prolonged grief.
We do not set time limits and the service is completely free.
Guy’s Gift
Guy’s Gift provides a service totally free of charge to bereaved children and their families in South Warwickshire.
Kemp Hospice

North Worcestershire Bereavement support is a registered charity providing confidential one to one counselling support for people who have experienced bereavment and loss. The service is free of charge – but donations are accepted if they are offered. The counsellor is there to listen to your thoughts and feelings about your loss and will not judge you or tell you what to do. The counsellor’s role is to help you find your own answers by sharing an understanding of your experiences.
